Age of Empires II The Conquerors Expansion Trial Help Topic

In the Age of Empires II The Conquerors Expansion Trial consists of a single scenario of the Campaign Montezuma. In this scenario, you will be starting with the Aztec Civilization and with three Eagle Warriors and three Villagers. The task is to finish the game by putting the four Relics inside the four Monasteries. If the monastery is explored there is a probability for the enemies to destroy it. If the monastery is destroyed you are defeated. So, keep protecting the monastery which ou have explored or just dont explore it.

Tepanaca, Xochimilco and Tlatiluco are the enemies you need to face in the game. Out of these three, Tlatiluco is the easiest to conquor. Firstly, you need to build a defensive strategy. For this you just need to go towards the Tapanaca's side, that is towards the top of the map. You will find a gate of Tepanaca as you go in that direction. You need to build a gate exactly beside the Tepanaca's gate so that you wont waste too much resources stone or wood. Also build a gate at your left side and make your development fast. While development, you need to exhaust the resources to get the required buldings and army. You reach the castle age and get an army of around 20 Military Units to take down Tlatiluco. But with Xochimilco and Tepanaca, you need to be careful.

Xochimilco and Tepanca, both try to attack you from the direction shown in last screenshot. Tepanaca will use Eagle Warriors and Plumed Archers. Xochimilco uses Long Swordsmen and Archers. No enemy uses seize weapons, so there is no big problem. Also, Tepanaca has two watch towers gaurding their base. Xochimilco and Tepanaca both use one Castle. Tlatiluco uses none. You need to build two castles to defend the gate shown in the third screenshot. You make the best of your army and then attack the enemies. You need to build a dock to finish the fourth monastery. Thats how you do. The Jaguars in the game wont hurt Eagle Warriors and Monks. Tlatilucos, military buildings are built at an island at the bottom of the mini-map towards your side.
