First Look at Age of Empires and Counter Strike

I have seen people who said "Age of Empires - aaahh enough man" and "Counter Strike - childs play"

There is no need to mention that the most active games for an year at least in the great LANs around the world are Counter Strike and Age of Empires.

The graphics of Counter Strike 1.6 are worst to compare with Counter Strike Source. But what matters is game play right.

Milli second faster and Milli meter more accurate

These what matter when the competition is too intense. I don't think competition is so intense in gaming yet. But definitely the developer must take into consideration the gamers emotions.

Coming to the wireless consoles, if i am playing say prince of persia, I don't want to hang in at a scene where I keep on trying the controller to get the subject to the accurate point, its just waste of time and I can feel the pain in my muscles to make it.

Age of Empires 2 TC AI Algorithm Writing and Strategy Making - AI Creation

Writing an AI in age of empires is very simple if you are a novice programmer of any language viz C, C++ or JAVA.

First thing in writing a program is making an algorithm. Write the algorithm perfectly and you can make the program much simpler to look and execute. And writing an algorithm for Age of Empires, the game which you might have played for ages is much more simpler. Your strategy itself is your algorithm.

I will try to explain my algorithm or my strategy. I do the things I wrote below,

1. First of all, once the game starts, you create 4 villagers.
2. Build a house with a villager or two.
3. Then you make the three idle villagers collect the food.
4. The next thing is making the scout explore.

Its been good with GTA 4 that it supports multiplayer. Similarly, its good to have a Multiplayer Game play for Mafia II.

Multiplayer gaming attracts more gamers than single player games. One of the reason being interaction between the gamers. Secondly the LAN areas. Gamers in institutions and other localized communities, they tend to play with their friends, rather than themselves and friends promote them to play between themselves rather than playing alone in a single player game in a single room in a hostel. The later situation is not at all desirable.

Though the first situation itself is not desirable in the educational institutions, to a limit is always good. I mean the gaming.

There are 100s of games released every year world wide. How many are surviving! Hardly few. For some outline, you can go to Google Trends and check it out there, there are only few keywords which stay high in the graph, others just go 'slow' and many of them 'low'.

Ask any of ourselves, what's hot this year! Assasins Creed, NFS, FIFA, Resident Evil, nice, good number of games but I know this sounds like an year old or may be 5 years old. You know why right.

Making life simpler for Multiplayer Gamers - GamingLAN Live - No Krishna Astahmi Gift

Today and the whole day I was trying to make an app, GamingLAN Live, as it can be called. Did I succeed, Yes No Yes No. That's how the results go on. I go for some third party app which can solve the purpose. But if it can solve the purpose, why isn't it doing by itself! There comes the problem.

Whats the big difference between Facebook updates, Twitter updates and Google Buzz. There is not much difference in the idea. This thought is killing me once and making me elite the other time.

An idea should be and must be the most suitable no compromise kind of thing to achieve success or the purpose atleast.

I cannot reveal how I am trying to design the app, but I am, I had tried to do it with PHP and AJAX with lots of failures. I need to spend a month to make it I guess. I cannot do that I know. So I leave it for now.

These are considerably good games which can be good to kill some time with out any soft feelings. Farm Frenzy is a cool strategic game which
I can play for hours along. Off course, I am huge fan of Age of Empires. You can find a quater of the posts on AOE itself. I am thinking of writing few more posts, once the great player gc path finishes his new AI. I writing one too.

Any ways, if you like AOE, and if you can play AOE for days, you can play Farm Frenzy for hours and may be days, if you connect your N97 to the Power Adapter.

Diamond Island, not too bad if you are a core puzzle addict. Cube touch and solitaire are games you can see where ever you go and in which ever platform you want. So not much on the middle ones but good ones.

Apple iPad not a great Gadget to talk about here in Gaming LAN

Apple iPad, yeah a very nice Gadget to get your hands on. But if you gets your hands on it, it wont have any support against the gravity. What I mean is, its good to see others using it and not so great to use ourselves. The basic reason is that its not a mobile to put it in the pocket nor a laptop to keep both your hands on.

The main topic I was talking about is that the gaming experience is not as great as it can be discussed about. It has a few nice games, ones I saw in NDTV Profit just now is the Real Racing HD. And I dont think it is a game which is so cool to play daily. It a good experience and it is not addictive. A true gaming is an addiction, thats how the publishers earn.

Any ways the gadget is not released to play games in it. What it is, is as good as it can be, and I cannot say that it is lacking any features.

After all its good as a Mobile Phone (Naah), Laptop(Na Naah), Media Player(Yeah), Netbook(Oh Yeah), iBook(Absolute Yeah).

It is a very good experience to play the Mobile Multiplayer games in Handsets like Nokia N97 and 5800 with many features like the accelerometer.

The title suits the storyline so perfectly that icannot express how cool it is to listen.

The ESPN Cricinfo Mobile application gives a great bunch of topics and information updated. This would be very useful for any regular cricket follower.

In the very similar kind, a Symbian Mobile Application for IPL T20 is in great demand. That would provide a good number of options like schedule, scores and results including the commentry and gallery as the ESPN Cricinfo application has.

IPL T20 is followed by great number of fans in India and abroad. Most of these viewers are busy working in their offices when the matches go live in TV. Hence there is a great demand for an application which provides all the information which is needed to enjoy the match on mobile. Few days back, there was no Skype application for Nokia N97 atleast which can support the touch screen option. but now the Nokia Ovi Store has an application for Skype on mobile listed in the recommended and applications tabs.

A post after 100 days halt in blogging Gaming LAN
