World and Car Graphic Preferences and Properties in NFS Undercover

Need For Speed Undercover might have some complex programming logic which might be making it little laggy even in PCs with very good configuration. There is a need for a new patch which may take care of some logics and bugs. A freely downloadable patch for NFSU would make it much interesting to play. The Patch Download for NFS Undercover can be expected very soon as there are talks on current works on Patch building for NFSU.

Atleast for now, it is very much necessary to understand the settings which could help in improving the performance of the game NFSU.

NFS Undercover has the good level of each option relating the Graphics of the Game which effect the normal performance of the game very greatly.

The Car detail should be least concerned in the game NFSU. The world is the factor is the one which should be concerned about. The player while playing the game, always looks at the edges of the roads, the far buildings and the items beside the road. The player rarely tends to look at the car he is driving. It is just a piece of the screen hanging in the center. In the game, hardly there comes a situation where the player needs to look at his car.

Also, the higher car detail does not make it realistic, rather it will look much like a toy piece which is intended to be fixed to the screen and the rest of the world is moving. I mean higher car detail makes it more unrealistic than the low car detail option.

As far as the World Detail is concerned in NFSU, it is better to have it at normal levels or it can be higher too. The world detail appears to take lesser Graphic processing than the car detail. Better to raise the World Detail. World Detail is the key for the appearance.

Coming to the Shadow option. Shadow helps in making the look realistic as normal. But surely the shadows option will take a good amount of Graphic Processing Capabilities.

All these options in NFS Undercover can show the best only if the resolution is set at a very good level. Like 1024x768 which can be good enough for a 15 inch Monitor.

A 1GB nVIDIA 8500GT Graphic Card appears to be helpless with a normal PC with debatable Processor Configuration. So, the game NFSU not only needs a good Graphics Processor, but there is more to do for the processor about the game logic in Undercover version.

Pink Slip in NFS Undercover - Car Selection - Lotus Eclipse

Pink Slip is the opportunity to take the rivals car when the rival is lost in the match. This will give player an additional car in his garage. The cars are very similar to the ones bought. But these cars may have upgraded previously. So, that is a better part.

Win a race after a few and there would be a first Pink Slip of all the cars participated in the racing. The opportunity should not be wasted. Which car to select is the question. The answer would be obviously Lotus Eclipse. This shows best statistical data in the indicators shown for each car. Also the look of the car is good enough.

The Handling is the major factor to be considered while selecting a car for the newbies. This is because the faster cars mostly have low handling and it makes them really heavy to drive. A faster car dashing all the path is slower than a slower car moving steadily. As said by some one "Slow and Steady Wins the Race". But for the experts, it does not matter how low the handling is, they can always take control of the car and always prefer to take the fastest and the one with good acceleration.

So, here three kinds of cars exist,
  • Ones with good handling - Good for newbies
  • Ones with good acceleration - Good for normal players
  • Ones with top speed - Good for Pros

OpenGL vs Direct3D Video Modes for Counter Strike

There are three different modes of Video output in Win XP. These are Direct3D, OpenGL and Software mode. The Software mode will run by making the video output into fragments and directly showing it as a picture or a user interface. The D3D and OpenGL are bit recommended modes for Video Output. The Software mode takes its turn when there is no possiblity for OpenGL and some incompatibility issues.

Linux uses OpenGL as there is no Direct3D option. But when there is an option for Windows PCs to have Direct3D, it is better because it is said to be faster than OpenGL. But the factor in these days not the configuration. So, OpenGL can be used for better quality of the Output Video.

OpenGL poses shows some incompatibility on Windows PCs without Graphic Cards, but there wont be any problem using the Direct3D option for 3D Gaming.

The game Counter Strike allows the users to select the required Video mode to play in. The option is shown in the Video Tab of the options window. If a user thinks his PC is slow and is resulting in low FPS, they can always switch to D3D. Also, sometimes the game Counter Strike directly reports some message after opening the application Counter Strike and return to Software mode of Video Output. The Software mode of Video output for the game Counter Strike will not have the Option to change alignment to right handed. So, the final option of the Video mode is Direct3D.

Solution to Fix Registry Problem - Administrator has Disabled Registry Editing for User Account

Registry is a section of the OS where all the information about the data of a software application is stored while installing the software. This Registry can be seen by giving the keyword regedit in the run command window.

Many games and software applications need to have their information stored in the Operating System's Registry to run their applications. These registry data should be added if they are not
in the registry previously. But in some cases because of virus attack or any other problem, this registry editing becomes problematic. And it shows an error report in one of these cases. as follows,
Registry Editing has been Disabled by Administrator.

This kind of message appers when there is some problem to the PC like a Virus attack. This makes it very difficult to fix without any third party software application which claims to solve it. But there is a very simple solution.

The Administrator has Disabled the Registry Editing for your account. This will lead you to a very simple solution by yourself. Just create another new account. Thats it, all the registry editing ca be done as usal.

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones Dump needs Registry Information Setup

Registry is the section where all the information about the installed software is stored for the Operating System like Windows XP. The Software writes some information about the data of the software which is used later for updating the software applications and also as a register to the Operating System.

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones which is the third part in its series is also an application which needs the data about the application to be written to the registry. This is done by default in the installation of the game. But there exists some cases when the game is dumped to some other drive in the hard disk and the OS may be re-installed. This is the case where, the setup of the registry is required to play the game Prince of Persia The Two Thrones. If the setup is not performed, the game wont be launched. To launch the game, the data about the game should be written in the registry.

The information can be added to the registry just by running the setup.reg file in the dumped folder. This will directly add the information to the registry of the Operating System.

The registry information addition is also required in the case where there is a new user added to the User Accounts in the OS. This new user cannot access the software applications which are not written in his registry. This also can be fixed by running the setup.reg file in the folder in which the application is installed.

As an alternative, the software application can always be re-installed to fix any kind of problem caused by this kind of changes in the registry or any loss of data either in registry or in the installation folder. It is always recommended to the user that re-installation should be performed in the cases similar to this.

Also, when the application is uninstalled the registry values remain in the registry for some applications and it is removed for some other kind of applications. This is also a point of note which may help in some cases of malfunctioning of the software application.

The Registry values can be seen to edit or get some information by typing regedit in the run option of Windows XP.

Basics of CS1.6 Server Hosting and Terms

What is Half-Life and What is Counter Strike,
Half-Life is the actual platform of the game and its modifications are Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection etc...

What is the difference between CS1.6 and CZero or CSCZ,
CS1.6 is a Mod for Half-Life and So is CZero but the difference is development of the game. Very similar to development of source version, this too is a version of the game.

What are AMX Mod X, Clan Mod, and Admin Mod,
These are the administration tools for administrating the game server easily. These are to be used by the Server Administrator and other need not worry about these.

What is Console and what are Commands,
Commands are sent to the server to change something in the game. Console is the window from which these commands can be sent to the server. AMX Mod X, Admin Mod and other mods help the administrators minimise their effort in giving these commands.

What is HLDS,
HLDS is the dedicated server for any Mod of Half-Life. Listen server is one which can be started by a user directly joining in the game.

What is HLTV,
HLTV is an application which lets the users around the world to see a Clan Game or a League Match live through the Internet. This helps in increasing the number of spectators. The HLTV joins the game as a spectator does, but it will show some 1000 more players the same game. This HLTV has a with or without delay kind of option too.

What is Rcon,
Rcon is remote control for the console running in one computer to control it from another computer. For this the rcon password entered in the two computer must be same, and the client can control the server console.

To know about any of these clearly, see the posts in the blog.

Counter Strike 1.6 Dedicated Server Help Post - Complete HLDS Help

What is Counter Strike 1.6 Dedicated Server:
It is a application which can run the Counter Strike 1.6 engine in a Public or Private Server. The application can be installed without installing the game itself. The application will be included in the game while installing the game CS1.6. The Dedicated server is for the public and is intended for other players to join the game. Where as the Listen Server is one in which the player himself will start the game while the game is being played himself.

How to Host:
This Dedicated Server application can be launched by the executable hlds.exe, the one which is commented as HLDS launcher. This HLDS is the Half-Life Dedicated Server. Once the application is opened, it will show up a GUI. The GUI contains some options and tabs. The game which is intended to run on the server should be given in the options of the first Tab. It includes the following,

Game,
The Game is the Mod which the server should start. It includes CStrike, DOD, CZero, etc... These Mods are all the sub parts of the game Half-Life. CStrike stands for Counter Strike, either CS1.6, CS1.5 or Other versions.

Server Name,
Server Name is the name which should be shown while showing the server in the server browser of the other players GUI. The Server Name is to be specified clearly so that the other players can easily know what game is going on and what mod is being used in the game.

Map,
Map is the starting Map, the Default map can be changed to the required map by changing the map in InstallationFolder\Platform\Config\Server.VDF. This file will save the data previously given. So, to be specific, this is not the default file but it keeps on changing.

Network,
The Network is obviously LAN or Internet.

Max Players,
Max Players can be 32.

UDP Port,
The is the port defined universally for all the PCs. These ports from 27015 to 27020 and more are all dedicated to the Half-Life applications. If you want to setup another server in the same PC, then you need to give the port different to that of previous one. If some error is reported as shown below,

Could not allocate dedicated server IP Port 27015

This may be the case when you are trying to start a second Dedicated Server in the same PC or you may have previously started a Listen Server and Closed it, but that game is still running.

Rcon Password,
The rcon password which is used to control the server from another computer. If you think you will be administrating the server all the time this should be neglected. To know about rcon see the previous posts in this blog.

Once the Dedicated Server is started, you can see the Tabs on the top of GUI. The first Tab is Configure

Configure,
This Tab lets the Administrator change the Cvars of the game. The Cvars included are Round Limit, Win Limit, Buy Time, Freeze Time, Teams Limit, Time Per Round, Bomb Time, Starting Money, Friendly Fire, Flash Light, Foot Steps, Team Balance, Camara Angle,

Some more CVars can be added to these by changing the parameters in the GameServerConfig.VDF. This file allows the administrator to add any number of CVars to the GUI in the HLDS Applicated after launched.

The other Tabs include Statistics, Players, Bans, Console.

The Console can be operated from that tab. The condump command can be used to dump the console to any .txt file in the game DIR.

Can CTs Collect and Plant a Bomb? Get this if you want to

CTs can see the bomb dropped in front of them but they cannot take it and hide it some where. This is not fair isn't it, so this is the plugin for you by alliedmods - CT Bomb Stealer. You can download the plugin CT Bomb Stealer and install in your AMX Mod X to do this.

Download it from alliedmods website follow the steps below,

  1. You can download the ctbombstealer.sma file from the website.
  2. Just place the source file .sma of the plugin in cstrike\addons\amxmodx\scripting\ folder.
  3. Now run the compile.exe file in the same scripting folder.
  4. The out put file will be placed in compiled folder.
  5. It will be named as the source file and the extension as .amxx. Like ctbombstealer.amxx.
  6. This file should be placed in the plugins folder of amxmodx folder.
  7. Now in amxmodx\configs\ folder, you can see a file named plugins.ini.
  8. Now add a line, the name of the .amxx file including .amxx, at the end of the file.
  9. The line should look like this ctbombstealer.amxx
  10. There should not be anything in the begining of that line
  11. Now go to, amxmodx\configs\ folder and open modules.ini file
  12. Remove any semi-colons in front of the line containing these words Fakemeta
  13. Doing the above step will enable the two modules
  14. If the Semi-Colons are put, then the modules will be disabled.
  15. Just run the game, and the plugin will be loaded.

This plugin can be controlled with the commands given in the same page from where you downloaded the plugin source file. Just see them and know what is used for what.

With this plugin and controlling commands, CTs can collect the dropped bomb and plant it somewhere. They can take it somewhere and hide it so that the T's cannot find it. It looks great to see a CT with a Bomb.

Call of Duty 4 Mod Plugin for AMX Mod X in Counter Strike 1.6

Call of Duty 4 Mod has been available for AMX Mod X to change the game play of Counter Strike 1.6. In this mod, a Grenade is dropped just after a player is killed. This grenade can damage the enemies and kill them.

The Plugin can be downloaded from amxmodx official website. The plugin once downloaded needs to be installed in the AMX Mod X installed in Cointer Strike 1.6 previously.

  1. Just place the source file .sma of the plugin in cstrike\addons\amxmodx\scripting\ folder.
  2. Now run the compile.exe file in the same scripting folder.
  3. The out put file will be placed in compiled folder.
  4. It will be named as the source file and the extension as .amxx.
  5. This file should be placed in the plugins folder of amxmodx folder.
  6. Now in amxmodx\configs\ folder, you can see a file named plugins.ini.
  7. Now add a line, the name of the .amxx file including .amxx, at the end of the file.
  8. Now go to, amxmodx\configs\ folder and open modules.ini file
  9. Remove any semi-colons in front of the line containing these words Fakemeta and Hamsandwich
  10. Doint the above step will enable the two modules
  11. If the Semi-Colons are put, then the modules will be disabled.
  12. Just run the game, and the plugin will be loaded.

See the commands which are used to control this mod. The commands will be given at the same page where you are downloading the package.

The commands for the Call of Duty 4 Plugin are

  • md_on - enables or disable the plugin
  • md_hasgrenade - drop grenade only when players have it or always
  • md_grenades - HE grenade, Flash, Smoke also can be included
  • md_mult - number of times the normal damage to be done by a grenade

The desciption for each command is given in the alliedmods website.

Changing Crosshair Color to Various Colors in CS1.6

If you see in the config.cfg file, there is a command line showing

cl_crosshair_color "250 0 250"
This is the command for chosing the required color for the crosshair in Counter Strike 1.6. The colro can be chaged to various colors different than those shown in the Multiplayer Options Menu. There are only four to five basic colors shown in the Multiplayer Options Menu. This command can change the color of the crosshair to as many as 16777216 colors.

These colors can be obtained by giving their corresponding numbers in the command. Each argument ranges from 0-255 and it should not exceed 255. The first argument is for Red, then the second one for Green and the third for Blue. If an argument is dominating the other, then that colors is shown better in the crosshair. All 255's mean white and all 0's mean black colors.

How to Change Control Text Color or Chat Color in Counter Strike 1.6

The Control Text color is the color that is shown for the chat text in the left bottom. This color can be changed to required color from the default orange. The command for this is
con_color "250 250 250"
This color can be anything and it can be changed from 0 to 255. It should not exceed 255. All 0's mean black and all 255's mean white. You can see the colors and their corresponding numerical combinations in the Paint application of windows. Select the color and see the numbers. Give those numbers in this command.

There is no need to give the command each time you start the game. It will be saved. Or else, you can directly see the command in the Config.cfg. Edit there and it is for ever. In the same config.cfg you can see the crosshair color and size too.

Editing GameMenu.res to Change the Menu Labels in Counter Strike 1.6

The file GameMenu.res keeps all the data about the game menu while showing the Graphical User Interface (GUI) to the user. The Menu labels can be chaged accordingly to suit your ease of use.

For example, the Create Server can be changed to Start One. Quit can be chaged to Enough.

The GameMenu.res file can be seen in cstrike\resource\ folder. And it can be opened with normal text editor like Notepad or Wordpad. It looks like this,

"GameMenu"
{
"1"
{
"label" "Resume"
"command" "ResumeGame"
"OnlyInGame" "1"
}
"2"
{
"label" "Disconnect"
"command" "Disconnect"
"OnlyInGame" "1"
"notsingle" "1"
}
"4"
{
"label" "#GameUI_GameMenu_PlayerList"
"command" "OpenPlayerListDialog"
"OnlyInGame" "1"
"notsingle" "1"
}
"8"
{
"label" "-----------------------------"
"command" ""
"OnlyInGame" "1"
}
"9"
{ "label" "Listen Server"
"command" "OpenCreateMultiplayerGameDialog"
}
"10"
{
"label" "Search"
"command" "OpenServerBrowser"
}
"11"
{ "label" "Options"
"command" "OpenOptionsDialog"
}
"12"
{
"label" "Quit"
"command" "Quit"
}
}

The label line in each case can be changed to required word, but the command should be same.

Solution for Need For Speed Undercover Crash Problem

There are reports that the game Need For Speed Undercover is crashing frequently at introduction video at the spot where the Helicopters chase the Car.

A similar kind of problem is seen in the case of the game Prince of Persia Warrior Within. So the solution for that game may also solve the problem of this game Need For Speed Undercover. The Solution for that game Prince of Persia Warrior Within is given by a friend in a forum on fileforums website.

The Solution for the game Prince of Persia Warrior Within was to move a video file to another location which was corrupted or damaged someway leading to a crash to windows when ever the game was run. So when the game tries to access that moved file. It wont be accessible in that location so the game skips that video segment. Similar kind of problem may be occurring in the game Need For Speed Undercover. Just try removing the introduction video files by moving to to another location. This may solve the problem.

Another solution may be to remove any previous profile aliases which may also affect the game and leading to crashes in Need For Speed Undercover.

Many games like these may be crashing because of the problems as simple as these. So, it is better to be patient to solve the problem taking the help of the web.

In most of the cases, when ever there is a crash like this, there would be an error report showing the information of any file which is responsible for the crash. These crashes can be solved just by replacing the files with new ones in the cases where the files are .dll files. If the files are .exe files, it is better to re-install the application.

Unlocking Artwork Gallery and Sand Credits in Prince of Persia The Two Thrones Profiles

In the game Prince of Persia The Two Thrones, there is a feature for illustration of the game series including Prince of Persia Sands of Time, Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and Prince of Persia The Two Thrones.

There will be an Artwork Gallery in Extra Features option in every Profile created. The Artwork Gallery shows the Pictures and Videos of the Games in the Prince of Persia Series. Unlocking the Videos and Pictures in the Artwork Gallery can be done by gaining Sand Credits in the game. The Sand Credits may be present in the Sand Gates or from normal Artworks Chests. Based on the number of Sand Credits in a profile, the Pictures and Videos can be unlocked.

These pictures and videos show the weapons used by the prince, all kinds of swords and daggers and the way the price uses his weapons to kill the enemies. Videos of different Combo Attacks can also be seen.

The better part of this extra feature in the game POP:TTT is that it shows the info and illustration of the previous games too. That is Prince of Perisa Sands of Time and Warrior Within too.

Bonus Health Spots and Powers in Prince of Persia The Two Thrones

In the game Prince of Persia The Two Thrones, there are some spots from where you can gain bonus health. These places are slightly hidden from the normal paths. If observed keenly, these are visible and can be identified as the some bonus health spots very easily.

One such spot can be seen with a flag covering the path. The bonus health increases around 10% each time. Such bonus health spots can be seen at many places and the total health exceeds full circle and turns back.

The powers can be obtained from the sand gates once they are neutralized. These Powers include Eye of Storm, an extra Sand Tank etc... The Eye of Storm power lets the surroundings look much slower than himself, by increasing the reflex speeds.

The game has a total of 6 Sand Tanks out of which only some will be available for use. The Sand Tanks are activated if you get the Sand Tank power from the Sand Gates. Some new attacks are shown when you come across some new weapons.

Download CS1.6 Demos of League Matches

Counter Strike demos are the files of the format .dem, which are recorded while playing the game in Dedicated Servers or the Personal Console. These demos let the players see how they played in the game or even for others to see how the player has played.

These demos can be recorded in the game by command record "filename". This saves the demos as filename.dem in the game directory. That is cstrike or czero. This and can be viewed later by the command, playdemo, viewdemo "filename". These demos can be seen through many view points if it is recorded in HLTV or if it is recorded in normal Personal Console, these demos just show the view of the current user.

There are lot of sites hosting these demo files of CS1.6. Further more, these downloads are free to download. These files can be dowloaded and played in the game or skplayer. The skplayer can be downloaded for free from the internet.

The Sites Hosting CS1.6 Demo Files,

These hosts provide a great coverage of demos of manyleague matches held in the years. These demos are all the Multi-Point View demos, like the ones recorded in the HLTV. This enables you to see the game of your favourite player. So, you can view the game from the angle you like. The better part in HLTV.org is that, the demos section gives compete information of the teams played and other demo file info. Also, you can browse based on the map and team.

All that you need to do is just download the Demo files of CS1.6 from these websites. Extract the files if it is a package. The package can be opened by winrar even if it is tarball gz2 forms. These files, .dem files, must be placed in the cstrike directory of you CS1.6 installation. Just open the game Counter Strike 1.6 and give this command in the console,

  • viewdemo "filename of demo file"

This file name may appear too big, so it is better to rename these files once they are extracted to a shorter fielname. The filename does not affect the demo in any form. The usage of viewdemo command is better over other commands because, the viewdemo command also shows up a Demo Player when the demo starts. The Speed of the Demo Playback and other options can be controlled with this Demo Player. The other commands does not show out this Demo Player.

Also, the demos can be downloaded from many other sites which include websites fnatic, sk-gaming etc.

Post Tip:

The download of any kind of resource can be found in some files hosted in websites through google search with the usage of keywords like,

  • index of cstrike/maps for maps
  • index of cstrike/ .dem for demos

Can the Installed Games be Dumped to DVD-ROMs to Play Later

The Answer is Yes sometimes and No may times.

Whats the use of dumping installed games in DVD-ROMS? The answer is there are many advantages. Like the games can isolated from virus attacks. The installation process can be skipped when ever you want to play the game after a long time or a format. The hard disk space can be saved. The PC does not get slowed down for istallation.

But there is a problem. The Games generally not only use the files in the installation folder rather they use many files in the windows and other folders. These are generally the .dll files. For the same reason, a user can not run dumped games. It shows an error like "File not found d3dx9_34.dll/d3dx9_35.dll re-installation may fix the problem". These files may not be present in the windows installation and will be installed while installing the game. Also, the Games not only read the files in the installation folders, but also they write something in the files many times. Examples of these files which are written by the game are the profile save files. So this makes it not possible to dump the games into ROMs to access the games later.

But there are many games which does not pose any errors when there are being played. So, these games can always be dumped in to ROMs to play later. The Game when loading will get all the required files in to the RAM. You can play for as much time as you want and you can take the ROM out. The problem here is that, the games releasing in these days are of much bigger size that of normal DVD-ROM. You must have the Dual Layer DVD writable disks to fit these in.

But the games can be surely installed in the Flash Drives which are capable of both reading and writing the data into the files. But the problem with the Flash Drives is that you wont maintain a handful of Flash Drives daily, but you do play more number of games than that. Also, we never store the Flash Drives, they are in daily use.

128 bit Operating System for Gaming

It is great to have the Operating Systems of 128 Bit to have the games played with out any lag in the systems. The games need to a greater performance of the Computers when compared to most of the normal PC applications that are in domestic use around the world daily. The 128 bit Operating System should increase the performace of the PC theoritically to four fold than the 32 bit OS what is in wide use present day. This is based on the hypothesis that 128 bit OS is capable of processing 128 bits of data in each cycle, where as it is just 32 in 32 bit OS.

The key here is that the programming of the game also should be done in the way that it uses 128 bits of data per cycle. Or in other words, 128 bit software compatible to 128 bit OS. The Graphic Cards of nVIDIA in use around world today are also 128 bit supporting hardware. But when does they come in use. Awaiting the 128 bit OS, and of course, 128 bit games from those like EA and Activision.

NFS Undercover Crash Problems and Lag in the game

NFS Udercover users report problems like frequent crashes and lag. Many users are reporting the some error in forums too. Some experienced the crash problems after re-installation. The NFSU crashes when it starts to load the video, when it is re-installed. This might be related to the saved profiles of NFSU, since this is the time when the saved profiles in the My Documents are to be loaded. The saved profile may appear corrupted to the new installation of NFSU when it tries to load the profiles. The game may face the problem with the previous saved profile. Or this may not affect the game, there should be some other problem.

Also, the game NFSU appears to be programmed with too complex logic or something like that. This conclusion is drawn because, even the PC which are full-filled the minimum requirements of the game NFSU appear to be lagging while in the game. Also, the PC with much better configuration are also facing the same problem of lag in the game. Not only this, but the game runs quite normally for sometime and suddenly sticks to a particular position at a particular area in the map to load the environment and world around, then the game resumes normally. Some thing like a Page Fault occurs. This type of problem can be associated with any of the components of the PC like RAM, Processor, GPU, Hard Disk too.

The lag in the game appears to be least concerned with the settings of the game, especially the Graphic Options. The game shows almost same lag when the game is set to least graphic details and highest graphic details.

Some of the reports also say, that all the cars are not unlocked even after the completion of 100% profile. This may be due to the reason that the game also has some cars to be unlocked after giving the cheat codes. Like some of the cars showing in the cars folder are spare for the cheats of NFSU.

How to Change Menu Labels in Counter Strike 1.6

In the game Counter Strike 1.6, you can change the GUI as you like. The game can be completely customizable. Every where there would be clear information shown in each file which gives you information on how the game starts and runs. And hence, you can always edit these customizable settings of the game as you like which makes your work easier or which makes you feel good.

For changing the Menu Labels in the Menu Screen, you need to go to cstrike\resources\GameMenu.res. There you can see some lines with the same words as they appear in Menu Screen. So, you can type what ever word you want there, like intead of "Quit" word you can put "Bored for Now" or "Enough for Now", instead of some "Resume" you can put some other word.

For changing the Command menu items which appear in the game when pressed "h", the default key, you need to do as indicated below,

Go to commandmenu.txt in your cstrike folder. Open it with any normal and basic text editor. It looks like a tree of items, like a C language program. Don't worry, it not like it anyways. It consists of some menu items and some sub menu items. You can compare it with the menu you get when you press "h". Make a backup of that file, because you are going to edit it. Paste this code in the commandmenu.txt file.

// This is the command menu..!
// The menu that appears when u press "h"...!
