How to Play:

Zombie Mod is a mod for Counter Strike which will make the players turn into Zombies. Initially the players are divided into two categories, Zombies and Humans. Humans will be in the form of both Counter-Ts and Ts. These both should combine forces and kill the zombies. Zombies should try to infect the humans and turn them into Zombies. The game is finished when every one of the team dies.

How to Install:

Just Download the package from zombiemod website. And extract the package. Copy and paste the folders in the package to your installation. Like copy addons\zombiemod form package and paste it in cstrike\addons\zombiemod. Similarly paste all the folders into cstrike. Now, open cstrike\addons\metamod\plugins.ini and add this line "win32 "addons\zombiemod\bin\zombie_mm.dl". Thats it you have finished. If you don't have the addons folder. Try to go to the topic Metamod installation and editing libist.gam topic which is explained in this blog.

You can have this mod directly on MetaMod and there is no need to have AMX Mod X or Admin Mod. Zombie Mod directly uses MetaMod as Platform like StatsMe Plugin and AMX Mod X Plugin.

StatsMe 2.8.3 an Addon for MetaMod for Counter Strike 1.6/CZ in Game Statistics Display

What is StatsMe:

You might have seen many Counter Strike 1.6 Stats pages on the web in many websites. That can be done by PsychoStats package which allows the Counter Strike server administrator put the stats in the web. It would not show any stats in game while you are playing the game or spectating. But no worry! Here is another package which allows you to see stats in game for Counter Strike 1.6/CZ. It is StatsMe. StatsMe 2.8.3 is the current latest version of StatsMe released. This is an addon/plugin used for MetaMod. This plugin does not require AMX Mod X and both are two seperate plugins for MetaMod. And MetaMod is again an addon for Counter Strike and all of its Versions like CS1.6, CSCZ, CSS.

Firstly you need to have metamod installed in your Counter Strike installation. If you have installed AMX Mod X or Admin Mod previously, then you will have the MetaMod installed. Else, to check this out, just go to your Counter Strike installation folder and see for cstrike. You should have a folder named addons, in your cstrike. Then go to addons and you should see folder named metamod. This MetaMod is what we are talking about. Or if you dont have the metamod folder see the section below,

MetaMod Installation:

Download the metamod.dll file from http://www.metamod.org/ you will get a zip file extract it and paste the metamod.dll file in cstrike\addons\metamod\dlls. You need to create the metamod folder and addons as you dont have them previously.

Now, you need to edit the liblist.gam file. For complete explanation search for the post "Editing liblist.gam file" in this blog posts. Or I'll give you explanation very briefly.

Open Cstrike\liblist.gam with notepad, add the line gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls" in place of gamedll "dlls\mp.dll"

StatsMe Installation:

1. Download the package from the link given in this blog posts. Or go for the keyword download StatsMe 2.8.3 Latest in google search.
2. Once you get the package, extrat it to some folder.
3. Copy the statsme folder to addons folder, paste it in the folder where metamod is.
4. Now open metamod folder and add a file named plugins.ini
5. Open the file with notepad
6. Add this line win32 addons\statsme\dlls\statsme_mm.dll
7. Thats it when you start the game, you can see statsme stats.
8. Stats are displayed after the end of the round.

StatsMe Commands:

You can get the statsme menu when you give the command statsme_menu in the console. But it asks you password. So, first give the command "sm_menu_password pass" and then "statsme_menu pass". This should show you menufront type of menu. You can configure statsme with that menu.

Maps for Clan Matches de_dust2 de_inferno de_nuke de_train de_cbble de_cpl_mill

The most played maps in clan matches are de_dust2 de_inferno de_nuke de_train de_cpl_mill. The reason for this is the simplicity and and the number of routes connecting Bomb Site 1 to Bomb Site 2. The number of routes connecting Bomb Site 1 and 2 are very important and it decides how the map is benefiting CTs or Ts. The optimal number of routes between the two Bomb sites is the key. It should not be more and nor it should be less.

Also the difference in the distances between the two bomb sites will matter a lot. If one of the routes is too short and other is too long, no CT prefers to go from the longer route. This is how to matters.

While designing a map (it can be done with Valve Hammer Editor) you never need to worry about these parameters, but the final map whether it will be a good map or not depends on its own parametrise.

Also the visibility and simplicity will matter a lot. The maps which have the out door visibility are preferred more than roaming around inside a building.

Obviously, the two Bomb Sites should be near to the CTs than Ts.

de_dust2:
Has outdoor view, simple and not many Boxes and stuff. Just some simples open routes and some elevations. Three openings into the bomb sites. Good cover in the Bomb Sites. No ladders.

de_inferno:
Has outdoor view, not too simple and little extended routes. Some closed routes and Hall Ways. Small and Less number of rooms. Four and Three openings into the bomb sites. Good Cover in the Bomb Sites. Some small and large Corridors and Balconies. Some roofs.

de_nuke:
Long routes at the beginning and a wide route at the left of CTs. two bomb sites are indoor places with good cover and camping spots. Four inlets into each bomb sites.

de_train:
Advantageous to those who ever are in the bombsites not because of the cover but because of the visibility. Good sniping points. Good for snipers.

de_cbble:
The two Bombsites are very near to the CTs. Advantageous to cover both with out any loss of time travelling from one site to other. One wide opening from T spawn to CT spawn and a narrow indoor routes on the both sides, one leading to A and other leading to B.

de_cpl_mill:
Bombsites are just beside CT spawn. The better part is the tunnels which lead to both the bombsites with diversions inside the tunnel itself. Good cover in both the bombsites with not too many camping spots.

How to install Amx Clan Match Deluxe plugin for cs1.6

AMX Clan Match Deluxe allows you to host a clan match server which will guide the players on its own. It runs over AMX Mod X. Its features include,

1. Main Menu for the Plugin
2. Game Type selection menu via Max Rounds, Max Time, Max Score
3. Menu of Config Selection for Loading
4. Reads the given Clan Tags.
5. Game setup with a single command apart from menu.

7. You will get a new file in the folder compiled with the name amx_clan_match_deluxe.amxx or what ever it is.
8. Paste this in the plugins folder of amxmodx.

AOE Scenarios CBF, Mini CB and Rambit CB

There are many scenarios which are played online in many communities, but the most played scenarios are only some like Rambit CB, Mini CB and CBF.

Rambit CB:
What are we Given?
In this scenarios you will be given 4 kings a king at the super hero store, three castles, many towers in the middle of the map, a house guard looks like william wallace/champion a house a wonder and unlimited resources. All you need to do is to protect the wonder present in between two of your castles and destroy the other players' wonders. You can only create your unique units based on the civilization you get.

**Why are kings useful?
You can buy powers using your kings. Its like they are the money. You send them to some store which you like to have, they dissapear and that power or unit will be given to you.

Additional Kings
For every 50 kills you will get a king and for every 2 razings you will get a king.

**What are Razings?
Razings are the number of building destructions. And also please note that a Gate will be consodered a razing but not a wall.

Aiming towards success:
You can use the kings to buy more powerful units and powers, but you need to be wise while selecting the unit to buy. Wait and buy a better unit or go on buying cheaper units.

**What are respawning units?
Respawning means they spawn at the spawn point after they are killed. Its like they take birth again if they are killed. But they are created at the base and not where they are killed.

The Towers:
You will get the towers in the middle of the map. So protect them as far as you can. they will help your archers garisson and fire arrows. Try to destroy your enemies' towers first, so that you can have the control over the Middle Hill.

The Middle Hill:
This place, the middle hill will allow you to gain hitpoints and attack strength to the units who ever go there. It also hepls to power up the heros faster.

The Herald:
The Herald is considered to be most powerful and when you get the herald first it means that you are going to win.

The House Gaurd:
The house gaurd will go on strengthening untill you save the house in front of your gate. If you lose your house, the house gaurd stops powering up. So this also means that you should destroy the enemy house as early as possible.

Mini CB:
This is scenario in which you will be given two castles and unlimited resources. Two respawning palladins and a hero are given. The hero goes on powering up with time. You need to destroy the enemy castle buildings. You will get kings to buy units and powers if the scenario is Mini CB Store Version.

CBF:
You are given 7 Castles and you need to destroy the other players' 7 castles. Unlimited resources. And Villagers at 500 and 600 kills with 1500 hit points. No kings to buy any powers. You can build Seige Buildings, Barracks, Archery Ranges, Stables and Towers but no Castles.

AMD is well known for its gaming processing capabilities. And nVIDIA is known for its performance stability and properties. How would it be if AMD and nVIDIA have a collaboration. The same thing with ATI and Intel. So, let me know what you think about it.

AMD64 with nVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 1GB by Zebronics

AMD64 processor costs around Rs.4000/- in CTC, Hyderabad, India. The nVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 1GB by Zebronics can bet bought at Rs.35000/- at CTC, Hyderabad, India. The Combination of both works well.

I am using AMD64 3000+ and nVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 1GB by Zebronics but even then I feel like the graphics can still do better. I played Fifa 09 at the resolution 1024x768x32, the videos appear to be loading slower observable if seen specifically. The main point here is that I am using 1GB of RAM. I am not able to decide whether the problem is with 1GB RAM or the Zebronics assembly. I doubted that the nVIDIA Graphic card assembled bu nVIDIA itself would do better than this a t the same configuration of the PC.

I have used all the hardware in 32 bit software and also doubt 64 bit software could do much better than 32 bit.

Counter Strike Joystick, Keyboard and Mouse

As you know you can have joystick for gaming in Counter Strike. So there can be a great difference between the joystick play and Keyboard and mouse play.

The main controls being Look around, fire, jump, reload, the better idea would be to practice the game with Keyboard and Mouse itself. As though a joystick cannot be used for all the controls because many keys need to be pressed at once. But players who already have good control over the joystick play can make it really good.

All the professional players do use Keyboard and mouse itself. May be you can have the combination of both instead of just joystick which i don't know much about.

Psychostats 3.2 Whats New, Included GunGame and Call of Duty Games

Whats New in Psychostats 3.2:

According to Stormtrooper, the Psychostats 3.2 version is being released with GunGame and Call of Duty Support. In the version 3 and all the packages after that they were self instrctory intallers. an install folder is added in the upload package additionally just for administartors ease of setup.

Problems while setting up Psychostats Webserver With Apache for Counter Strike

1. You might be using Active Perl version 5.6.x which may not be fully compatible and better to go for versions 5.8.x or more.
2. You need to install the DBI and SBS-mysql Modules for Active Perl. You can do this by just typing ppm in the run box and giving the comand "install DBI", "install DBD_mysql" each at once in the command box which appears after running ppm from run or ppm.bat directly.
3. The above step will not work if you are unable to access internet or under a proxy server. For this set the proxy in he command prompt, like this "set hhtp_proxy=http://xx.xx.xx.xx:port"
4. You might not have installed PHP for the webserver either Apache or IIS. Download the PHP package and do it.
5. You might not have configured the Psychostats Web package. Do it by adding username and password in config.php file in that package.

Psychostats for Counter Strike With Apache Webserver

Psychostats is a package for showing the statistics of the counter strike game which is running in your server. This package allows you to get the statistics from the game counter strike and show them in a website. The template and all the package of the web server is included in the package. You need to update the server statistics timely and it will take care of the database.

The better part of the package is that it will take care of all the units like MySQL database management, Perl scripts for updating the statistics and more over the design is too cool.

How to set up the Psychostats server:
You can sset up the psychostats server for website in the internet or intranet if you have good understanding of aplications and how they work. And also you should be familer with what you are doing.

These are the basic requirements for the server if you want to set up one.

1. Psychostats package
2. Active Perl version 5.8.x and more is prefered
3. Apache Web Server
4. MySQL Package
5. PHP Appplication for web server

DBI and DBD::mysql ppms needed for Perl to access MySQL for PsychoStats

The Intranet Server Setup is showing some problems as the MySQL module is not included in the installation package of the Active Perl. And also the Active Perl 5.10.x is said to have failed with MySQL Database. I dont know about this, but there should be some consideration for MySQL to be included in the Active Perl Package as it is hard to install it as a ppm.

Installing the modules as ppms can be directly done through the internet. But it is working only in the 5.6.x version of the active perl and it is not working in the newer versions. And the problem with the old 5.6.x versions of the Active perl was that they just support the MySQL Database Module version upto around 2.009 and nothing more than that.

The current version of the mysql module is 4.009 and is available for download at the activestate website.

The newer versions of the active perl is considered much more complex for operation because of the removal of the command promt ppm. Or may be I am not able to find it.

But for me, the repositories are being installed in 5.6.x version of active perl. And the psychostats is asking for better version.

And for 5.8.x and 5.10.x, the repository installation from the internet is difficult to carryout.

Appended:
Easy option is to get the latest version of Fedora Core, 10 or 11 and then select Perl and its addons while installation and then run stats.pl on this machine. Because this is pre-configured.

Counter Strike Dedicated Intranet Web Server For Psychosts

This is the post in which I wanted to give some information on how to set up an intranet server in a LAN and how to set up a Psychostats Server.

In many LANs it would be great to have a website setup for the Counter Strike statistics of the players playing in that LAN. You can have some schedules of the Clan Matches. You can have Clan Rankings. You can have Seeding. And you can have the individual player statistics for each and every player.

For all this to work, you need to have the following requirements

1. The OS can be windows or Linux, but I am confining my topic to Windows here in this post.
2. Apache Web Server Application from httpd.apache.org/download.cgi
3. PHP application from www.php.net/downloads.php
4. MySQL application from dev.mysql.com/downloads
5. Active Perl from http://downloads.activestate.com/ActivePerl/Windows
6. Psychostats package from http://www.psychostats.com/downloads/
   

The best thing about this is that all these software are available for free download.

Once you have finished downloading all the packages, its time for you to start the process.

Firstly, you have to start the Apache Application which will start a web service on your server, meaning that the application will enable the Intanet Website in your server.

Just try checking after the installation by doing this,
Type http://localhost in the IE and it should show up some page.

Then you have finished setting up a Intanet Website in your PC. Now, you need to make it much more powerful by installing php in your system.

For this just run the php package and it will end up showing a message which asks you to give the config directory of Apache. You just go till you reach conf directory in your apache installation folder.

It will make the necessary changes in the required files.

Now you need to install the MySQL database application which allows the server to run a database in the same server.

Just install the package and run the mysqld-nt.exe file with the parameter --standalone

Now you have finished the Server part. Now you need to go for the website part.

In this section, you need to install the psychostats package into the root of the website. You can change the root of the website to the directory of Psychostats/upload by going to httpd.conf file in the apache installation directory.

Now when you open http://localhost, you should see the index.php file of the Psychostats/upload folder. Make it so. And you can set the default docuent to be opened to be index.php file by changing the index.html in httpd.conf file to index.php. Better to use the search.

Now that you have fiished psychostats installation, you need to install the active perl package which will make your work by updating the database daily or timely.

Now, this is not the end, you need to enable the mysql.dll in module.ini file. of AMX MOD X

Restricting Shields, Auto-Snipers and Other Weapons in Counter Strike CZ,1.6 using AMX Mod X

In many Clan Matches and other Official games and leagues, Auto-Snipers and Shields are restricted so if you want to make a Counter Strike Server in your LAN in some college or just if you want to make your game management easier for not buying some weapons this helps.

The easiest way to do it is as follows,

Firstly get the AMX MOD X for the Half-Life mod Counter Strike. Doesn't matter what version you are using like Condition Zero, Counter Strike 1.6, but there will be a different package for counter strike source.

After you get the package. Just install it. If it is self installing package, there is no problem. If it is a manulally installing package, you just go through the topic of this blog, link is given below

Now that you have finished installation, you have to enable a plugin for AMXX. That is restmenu.amxx.

Go to, CStrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\plugins.ini

You will find a semi-colon ";" in the starting of the line restmenu.amxx. Just remove the semi-colon ";" and save the file.

Now start the game. Go to the console "`" key, and type "amxmodmenu" in the console and press enter.

You will get a menu. Go to 9.More..., You will get a restrict weapons menu. Go to that number. Now it AMX Menu will show you all the weapons and whether they are restricted or not. You can restrict a weapon by just changing between 1/0 or on/off.

You find out the Auto Snipers and Tactical Shield and restrict them.

Now when you have finished restrictions, players cannot buy the weapons. But if the bots are there, they will buy the weapons. And human players can pick up the restricted weapons dropped by bots.

File not Found liblist.gam in AMX Mod X installtion and Editing liblist.gam file for Metamod installation

AMX MOD X Installation Error:
What:
Firstly when you see an error like this "File not found liblist.gam". This mostly means that you are making Amx Mod x Installtion.

Why:
And in this installtion you have given the wrong directory while installation. You should give the correct path. That is Cstrike or Czero or Valve, which ever you want to install in.

Verify:
The result of the installation is a creation of folder called addons in which ever parent folder given. The addons folder should be in Cstrike or Czero or Valve.

Editing liblist.gam file:
What:
You need to bother about this when you are trying to install metamod yourself, with out any installation package.

How:
You might have copied the metamod.dll in "cstrike\addons\metamod\dlls\", if not do it. If you are not able to see those folders. Create them from addons to dlls.

Now open the file liblist.gam in cstrike folder or czero folder, based on the mod you are installing, whether CS1.6 or CSCZ. Open the file with notepad or wordpad.

You will see a line like this gamedll "dlls\mp.dll". Change it to this gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll". Thats it. And Both lines must not be kept in the file.

This step is optional
Add a file plugins.ini in addons\metamod folder. This will be useful later for other package installations which run over metamod like podbot, statsme, amx mod, admin mod, clanmod etc.

Creating MetaMod Addon PodBot Way Point files for any Custom Maps

If you don't know what PodBot means, here it is

PodBot means Bots named Ping of Death. These bots are famous for their headshots. The installation of podbot menu is explained below.

Just download the package from the Internet. Downloaded package contains a folder named podbots. Now extract the package and copy the folder in addons folder of your counter strike installation. If you do not have any addons folder, you should make the metamod installation. You can get complete help in that topic or I will give a very brief introduction. Skip this if you have metamod.

• Just try to download the amx mod x, the link is given in this blog, and install it. This is enough.
• Or install admin mod.
• Or install metamod directly. This requires editing a file called liblist.gam

Installing metamod:

• Download the dll file from metamod.org. Keep it in cstrike\addons\metamod\dlls
• Edit the file liblist.gam in cstrike folder. For this you need to open the file with liblist.gam with notepad. There will be a line like this gamedll "dlls\mp.dll" change it to this gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll". That's it.

Now that you have installed metamod. Just paste the pobbot folder in addons.

Now create a file named plugins.ini with a line win32 "addons\podbot\dlls\podbot_mm.dll" in metamod folder. That's it when you start a game, these podbots will be playing with you.

You can create your own podbot way point files for any custom map so that you can create bots in it. This is how you create those way point files.

1. You might already have the podbots installed. If not goto the explanation above.
2. Just type this command in the console "pb wpmenu"
3. Now a menu appears on the screen.
4. Now bind a key to that command. To know how to bind see the previous pages in this blog.
5. Now add a T imporatant point at T Spawn.
6. Add CT important point in CT Spawn.
7. Add a goal point in the middle.
8. Now connect all these points with way points green.

Now save the waypoint file. It may have errors but it can be neglected. Just save and go on. You can switch off the waypoint menu from option 9 in the menu.

Add the bots when you start the map again.

The bots just follow the path randomly and they wouldn't get any problem reaching some point in the map. Even if they have some problem. The map does not crash and you can play the game very much normally.

Some PodBot commands:

• pb menu - podbot menu
• pb wpmenu - waypoint menu
• pb add - add podbot
• pb_detailnames 0 - dont show [PoD] in front and (100) at the end of the name

Transprent Walls Hacks and Cheats in Counter Strike 1.6, Condition Zero and Source

What are these Hacks and Cheats:
Counter Strike has some number of cheats which can be injected in to the mods like Counter Strike 1.6, Condition Zero, Counter Strike: Source with external third party applications. These cheats will change the clients gameplay and allows him to get some advantages like the following,

Transperent walls allow you to see through walls. Anti-recoil cheat allows you to shoot a target without any recoil. Another cheat will let you shoot all the 30 bullets if M4a1 or any other similar rifle, at one shot. One of these cheats allow you aim at the enemy automatically. Another cheat will shoot at the enemy just after you aim at him.

These cheats cannot be run on Valve Anti Cheat Servers. This is VAC Protection. You can see this VAC as a check box in Half-Life Dedicated Server.

How to use:
For using these hacks and cheats first you need to download the packages. After getting the packages you will get an application which will inject these cheats into the game engine. Then follow the instruction in the readme provided in the package.

Helpful or not:
These cheats and hacks should be highly avoided. Once you get the keys of the game you can come back to these to understand the game much better. To know what is happening in the game. To make strategies you should know what are the paths taken by the enemies. How are they approching the bombsites etc.

The Wall Hack:
The wall hack allows you to see the enemies through the walls. This is enable you to know the strategies to follow. You can see where to hit trough the walls so that the enemies can be hurted through walls. Where are the camping places, where to hit and what to do.

Auto Aim:
The advatage of auto aim is that it will show you where the enemy can be hit. It is like a tutorial. The headshot occurs at different points of the enemy and that can be precisely known.

Creating Counter Strike 1.6 Maps and Half Life Source Maps using Valve Hammer Editor

Many of the Counter Strike players might be interested in making Counter Strike maps of CS1.6 and Source maps. Many of the players may not be interested much but players who play in college LANs and Hostels such as IITs and NITs may be interested to create their own trademark kind of maps. So, where to get started!

I have put much focus on how the map to be designed that how it should be created. But I will give you little intro on how to create also.

Requirements:

1. Firstly you need to download two Softwares and need to configure them.
2. I can give you a link www.superjer.com/learn.php. This will help you to download and configure the application.
3. You can try for the latest versions released.
4. Go for the keywords Valve Hammer Editor and ZHLT Compiler in the google.
5. One of the two softwares is a Source Creator and other software is Compiler.

How to move on:

1. Now go to the Block Tool on the left side panel in the application.
2. Make a box on the grids.
3. Make a Hall and Room like appeareances.
4. Go to file and click Export to .MAP
5. Your map will be output in the specified folder.
6. Now copy that folder into the ZHLT folder.
7. Now you need to make a txt file with this text in it hlbsp mapname hlrad mapname hlvis mapname hlcsg mapname. Go to new line after every mapname
8. Rename the txt file as Compile.bat
9. Thats it now run the Compile.bat file. Just Open it.
10. You will get the outputs in the same folder.
11. mapname.bsp is also one of the output files.
12. Put the mapname.bsp in the maps folder of the cstrike.
13. Open it. And hope it works fine.
14. Go to the given links in Valve Hammer Editor and ZHLT for help and support.

Tips for Making a Good Map:

1. As you know, there are some constant variables for de maps, for all maps themselves also.
2. You need to put them all in mind while making it.
3. The two Bombsites in de maps must be nearer to the CT's than T's.
4. Bombsites must provide good cover for any one who stays there.
5. The openings into the bombsites must be designed very well.
6. Snipers should have some access to those openings. But not very easily.
7. The paths from T Spawn to Bombsites must be not more than 5 when considered at the mid-point of the map. And when they are reaching the Bombsites, the ideal paths directly into the Bombsite must be 3.
8. Both the Bombsites must be sufficiently far and not too much. It must be related to the size of the map.

All these are just my variables when I tried to make a map. And there are many other factors and some of my factors may be blunders too. All the best. Create your own Clan maps and College maps for Counter Strike.

Need For Speed Most Wanted Unlimited Bounty and Cost to State and a Biggest Pursuit

You might have got irritated like anything when you tried to make the requested bounty or when you are asked to spend a particular amount of time on the map in a pursuit. I myself have got my head banged up when ever I make a pursuit of heat level 4 or 5 and end up in the hands of those sports cars and SUVs, especially the spikes make my hopes sand buildings. Hence I tried to deceive them. I tried to avenge them with lot of heat in my mind this time. The following post will help you get the bounty starting from heat level 1 to heat level 5. And more over, there is no question of spikes. Isn't that good to hear!

I hope this post helps you a lot when you try to take revenge on those SUVs and all those sports cars with nitro boost. This is a simple task. But you need to be very careful in performing it. Because a little change or negligence can make all your effort a waste. So, be careful. But I say the task is simple itself.

Need For Speed Most Wanted - Unlimited Bounty:
In the game Need For Speed Most Wanted of Electronic Arts, there is a trick which can get you almost unlimited bounty. With this trick you can make your biggest pursuit ever in the game with respect to time and what matters more is with respect to bounty. To know how, see the trick below.

The Trick:

1. The Location in NFS World Map:

You might have roamed all over the map for hours and days themselves. Hence, I dont think it will be hard for you to make out this picture and the position. In the other case, below is the third screenshot I have provided showing the view of the map. If you observe it carefully, you can see the white colored square box and some red colored triangular boxes. Circles and hexagons or pentagons are not seen for your confusion :).

What you need to observe is the white colored square box. This is the location where the other two screen shots are focusing on. The other two screen shots, the first and the second screen shots are showing you the game view what you see in your routine game.

If you observe the first and second screen shot well, you can see that these two roads are not at the same height, the path on which the car is standing is at some elevation. This is the key to your success. This elevation is going to cool down arrogance of all the cars. I ask you to understand this point very well and keep it noted in your mind.

Now what you need to do is described in the procedure section. Make sure that you have understood the location well.

2. Procedure in NFS MW:

Now, when you are in a pursuit, try to reach this place. It is better to get here in heat level 1 itself. Don't try to irritate the cars too much because, you can make the trick begin easily when 1 or 2 cars are following you. When you reach here, make sure that the police cars following you (I said 1 or 2) are through downed the elevation. If they did not jump down directly, you try to dash them and through them down the elevation. Push them down. Make sure that you remain on that place at any cost because, the trick itself is that. You should not jump down to the High Way. When you remain there, the Cop Cars which are following you, still try to catch you from the highway on the down itself. But Cops cannot catch you if there is elevation difference and Cars cannot reach you from backside because the path is too long for the computer to take it. So what will Cop cars do! They keep on driving on the down high way itself. They cannot catch you and they cannot leave you. Some times they go far on the High Way and appear to be leaving you, this would bring cool down state, but don’t worry they comeback before you cool down completely. And if you are not visible to them Cop Cars will really go away. So make sure that you are visible to Cop Cars, that is move towards the edge as much as possible. And not so much you that fall down the elevation. Stay there calm, be the NFS Most Wanted let the bounty increase to required level, in my time I went out for my supper while my PC was taking care of NFS Most Wanted Game. Just left the window like that. The Cost to State increases very slowly. But bounty comes very fast. The police cars keep on fighting themselves in the high way area, but they cannot catch you. Your bounty keeps on increasing. The heat level goes on increasing. But they cannot catch you, since they wont come from the back until you move back. Once you start moving back they come from the back side, through the construction area. Finally you can cool down at any time you need just by going back to the cool down place just beside the small path, under the construction area. The first two screenshots show the described situation.

Precautions:

1. Don't go back, once you kick the police cars down. If you do so, they will come from the back.
2. Once you finish pursuit, go to the cool down area on the back side, under the construction area, as soon as possible to avoid them coming from back.
3. Take the exact centre position of the cool down spot.

Actually I thought of uploading a video of NFS MW with the situation which I can take with Fraps Software. But I was not able to because I did not have any Graphic Card at that time.

And please let me know whether you have succeeded or not. I would be happy if atleast one most wanted player was successful because of my post.

AMX Super Plugin for AMX MOD X, Server Administration Plugin with Simple Commands

What is Amx Super:

Amx Super is a addon plugin for AMX MOD X. This plugin makes the server management very much simpler by combining all the required plugins in this single plugin. Amx requires many plugins to be installed for a good server management. This Amx Super Plugin allows you to reduce the number of plugins to be installed in your amx.

What are the advantages of Amx Super:

It reduces the number of plugins to be installed in Amx Mod X. It has good reach over the cvars and allows you to change the cvars with ease. Some of the cvars include, sv_alltalk, sv_gravity etc. Amx Super also has amenu plugin. But it is not inbuilt.

Amx Super Menu:

This is not an inbuilt menu in the AMX Super. You will get a seperate plugin with the name Amx Super Menu. You can get the source named amx_super_menu.sma. You can compile this and get the output plugin. Put this plugin in the plugins folder of your amxx. Add a line in the plugin.ini of your amx mod x.

Where to get Amx Super:

Installation of Amx Super:

You can get the complete package from the given link as indicated above. The package contains a .cfg file. That is amx_super.cfg file. And a source file named amx_super.sma. You should compile the source and get the plugin. The out put plugin should be paced in the plugins folder of your amxx folder and add a line to the plugins.ini in the configs folder of your amxx.

Some Commands of Amx Super:

• amx_deadchat 1 - Enable/Disable dead players chatting with opposing teammates when alltalk is off.
• bullet_damage 1 - Enable/Disable the bullet bamage HUD above your crosshairs when you hit your opponents.

Counter Strike Setting up a HLTV Proxy and Recording HLTV Demos

What is HLTV Proxy and Why:

1. HLTV Proxy is a tool to braodcast league matches which are password protected.
2. With this people all around the world can see the league match held by ESWC or WCG or CPL or any other Organization.
3. The HLTV Proxy connects to a server and allows spectators to connect to itself. Like this it is broadcasting the protected game to everyone.
4. Takes the view from the server and shows it to the users connected to the Proxy itself.
5. Virtually you the spectator of the server put up by the organization.

Set up a HLTV Proxy:

Firstly you need to make ammendments in the HLTV configuration file named hltv.cfg.

1. You see a line like this hostname "HLTV Proxy"
2. If you like it, leave it. Else change it to your own name.
3. This name appears in the list if servers in the Spectate Tab of the game.
4. In case of LAN, the HLTV Proxy also appears in the LAN Tab itself.
5. You see a line like this name "Speactators in HLTV"
6. If you like it, leave it. Else change it to your own name.
7. This name appears in the Score Board of the game.
8. When the professional players press Tab to see thier score, this name appears in speactators list.
9. You see a line like this delay 30.0
10. This line will make the game delayed by 30 seconds in the broadcast. If you dont want the delay, make it 0.

You can access the application from this executable file hltv.exe. This will open a small command window, or console where you are allowed to give commands.

1. Very similar to connecting to a game, type the ip and port of the game server to connect to. Example connect 192.168.1.13:27015 ( Ip is in case of LAN)
2. Now your HLTV Proxy is connected to your game the server.
3. People can see your game by joining the HLTV Proxy. But your server will be still password protected.
4. Isn't this really cool!

Recodring Demos:

1. I have already explained how to record noraml demo in the previous post.
2. Recording demo here is verymuch similar
3. Just type record "filename"
4. This will record HLTV demo.

The great advantage of HLTV Demo is that it is Multi Point View. Means you can see in any view as a spectator in normal game. This is the reason why HLTV Proxies are widely used in private servers also.

Counter Strike Beginner Help and Commands for Recording Videos and Replaying from Demo Files

What is Recording feature:
If you want to be a good Counter Strike Player, there is a great oppertunity to see how you play while in the game. The great feature of recording demos in the game provides you the ability to view yourself after the game by playing the demo file.

Requirements:
Download the requirements from the links given in this blog.

How to record:
If you know what a Console is, skip the below paragraph.

Console:
Console is the window that you get when you press the key ` which is beside 1. This key is default key for Console toggling. Press the key. The Console appears. Now you have the opeertunity to type something in the bottom and press enter. This process will give a command to the server.

Commands:
Recording,

• record
• example: record dust

This command will record the game you are playing and saves it in cstrike folder of your installation. The file is saved as dust.dem

Replaying,

• playdemo
• example: playdemo dust

This will play the demo file dust.dem

Very similarly, you can downlaod the demos from the internet and put the .dem files in CStrike folder to view their games.

Knowledge about these demo files:

These demo files are of two types,

1. Single point view
2. Multi point view

The demos you record as explained above are single point view demo files. These demo files just show what you have seen while in the game.

The demos which are recorded thorough HLTV Proxies are Multi Point View Demos. Here you can see the game from any point of view as you are in the game itself. All the keys like Tab, Space bar, Duck Key work as normal. Mostly the demos downloaded from the internet will be Multi Point View demos.

Terms Explained: Half-Life HL, HLTV, HLDS, Steam, HL Mods Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, AMX, GunGame etc

Half-Life:
Half-Life is the game designed by valve software ltd. It is a first person shooter game. Its basic game play consists of some players playing against each other and shooting, similar to quake but there are many differences. The game requires a server run by one of the payers or a dedicated server.

Hlaf-Life through hl.exe:
This is the application to run the game Half-Life. You can play the above described game through this application. Through this application, you can create a standalone server or play by joining in the servers which you can search in the game. The GUI also contains an option to change the game to its modifications.

HLDS through hlds.exe:
If you are not willing to play a game but you are kind to your friends in your college LAN, you can start this application. This application lets them play the game with other friends. But the server is yours. Means you are the administrator of the current game being played. You can change the map or can change other settings. You can run this application called hlds.exe to start the server.

HLTV through hltv.exe
This is useful to spectate your friends playing. If there is a league going on between two teams, you are not allowed to join into the game. It will be password protected. So the Admin of the league, if he is kind to others willing to see the match, will start the HLTV and connect to the server of the league. Now you can connect to that HLTV without any password. This will allow you to see the game though that proxy but you are not actually in the original server.

Steam:
If you have played other games online some time, you might have definitely known about Game Spy Arcade. The Steam is similar to Game Spy Arcade.

If you are new to the internet,
There are many games played online. The Players need a standard platform to know about each other or to just play with each other with ease. These applications like Steam and gamespy Arcade allow the players to search their co-players from all around the world. The game which supports this Steam application is called Steam Version of the game and that does not support is called Non-Steam version.

Mods:
Mods are modifications of the game. They can be modified to anything. And a mod may again have another mod.

Modifications of the game Half-Life are Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, Team Fortress et cetera.

Modifications of Counter Strike Game are Counter Strike Death Match (CSDM), GunGame, Warcraft et cetera.

Counter Strike
It is the modification of the game. In this game, the gameplay consist two teams fighting for a task. In the maps like de, T team tries to Plant a bomb with in given time. The CT Team tries to Counter thier plans or to guard the places of most importance, the bomb sites. These de maps are most famous.

Versions of Counter Strike:
From 1-1.6, Condition Zero, Source. Versions from 1-1.6 and Condition Zero run on Half-Life. Source Version runs on Half-Life 2.

Day of Defeat:
Modification of the game Half-Life with different game play.

Natural Selection:
Modification of the game Half-Life with different game play.

AMX MOD X
This is a modearator for the games like Counter Strike, Condition Zero, Day of Defeat and other mods of half life. This makes the administration of the server easier. This can be used to modify the Counter Strike, Day of Defeat etc.

Counter Strike Death Macth(CSDM)

HLTV Skins and Models - Addons for Movie Making

It was in 2007 ESWC there was CS1.6 final between PGS vs NOA. I came across the Video in youtube and I found the HLTV of ESWC is Modified with some skin or Addon. I don't know what it is but that really made me think about it. See it here,

The addon is giving the info health and players alive on both sites with such cool animations. A title bar is present on the top which is giving the team score. It must be definitely an addon for HLTV. Assume if you can make such a video of your own. Thats too cool to just assume.

What I want to know is,

1. Is it a HLTV Skin?
2. If yes, is it available for all or only ESWC uses it?
3. If yes, where to get it?
4. If not available, are there any similar addons for HLTV?

PGS Vs NOA ESWC 2007 HLTV Skins
I googled this keyword for a hundred times but I endup in nothing but hltv_models.rar. I have searched the topics in HLTV.org. Searched it in gotfrag, fpsbanana etc...

According to My Opinion:

1. HLTV must officially release a skin of such kind.
2. HLTV should have addons which can do much better for moviemaking.
3. CPL, ESWC, WCG should have their own skins and should make a public version and make it available for the public.
4. These Models or Skins or Addons what ever they are should be added to their GUI package.

I am desperate to make a video with those addons.

Counter Strike 1.6 Configs and GUI Settings, Listen Server Must Haves

You can download the GUI_Temp.rar in which you are given 6 Configs apart from config.cfg and userconfig.cfg. Namely they are demoplay.cfg, demorecord.cfg, sensitivity.cfg, lsmain.cfg, plugins.cfg.

You can get them in tha package. extract them all into the cstrike folder in your harddisk. Now when you run your listen server, you can observe the difference you get in operating the listen server.

This is how it goes on.

1. Firstly Control text Color is changed.
2. Secondly the operarion is made easier.

Changing the Counter Strike Versions Backgrounds, GUI Settings, Listen Server

All these tutorials are very well compatible with Counter Strike: Condition Zero Settings, Counter Strike 1.6 Settings. etc

Background:
The Background of the Counter Strike Versions are in the form of Targa, that is .tga form. If you want to change it you can do it very easily by a software which allows you to change the background.



When you don't have that software, you can go in the reverse direction. This is how you do it. Open the "Cstrike" folder. Open "resource" folder. Open "background" folder in it. Edit each piece of the background with the background you like to put. But make sure that the pieces go in their exact location.

The pieces appear like this 800_1_a_loading.tga, 800_1_b_loading.tga, 800_1_c_loading.tga, 800_1_d_loading.tga, 800_2_a_loading.tga, etc.

Now that you have finished placing all the pieces in their place, open the game and you can see your new background.

Now to change the Transparency of the Menus or the Windows.

You can change the transparency of the Menus or the Windows in the Counter Strike Versions. Just follow these options,

1. Open the File TrackerScheme.res in the RESOURCE folder of you CSTRIKE.
2. Now Open it with Wordpad or Notepad or any other Text Editor.
3. Change the Last parameter in each line for changing the transparency.
4. First three parameters correspond to RGB and the Last parameter is for Transparency.
5. Now ifyou decrease the last number (range is 0 to 255) you will see the windows get transparent. 10 looks good.
6. But make sure that you wont open two windows at once because their text will interfere with each other.

The CommandMenu


The CommandMenu is that which will show you a tree menu while you are in the game. By default this menu is bound to the key "H". If you press H, you can see a tree menu displaying some options. Thats good but you can make it better and the best.

For this, follow these steps,

1. Open CommandMenu.txt in your CSTRIKE folder.
2. You see some numbers tags and flower brackets.
3. The text in the flower brackets represent a branch.
4. See the CommandMenu.txt in the GUI_Temp.rar you have downloaded.
5. You can write your own comands there.
6. The syntax is "Sl.No" "Description" "Command"
7. Example: "5" "Change to Dust2" "changelevel de_dust2"
8. If you put this line, an additional command will appear in the commad tree.
9. If you put this line in flower brackets it will show under another branch.
10. This commandmenu.txt in GUI_Temp.rar is very useful for Listen servers and no so for HLDS, Dedicated Servers or Normal Clients.

Now that you have known about CommandsMenu.txt, Lets go ahead,

The Autobuy
When you press F1, Computer Buys you the required equipment and stuff. How come computer knows it? Its like this. There is a file named autobuy.txt in the CSTRIKE folder. The info of what to buy is given there. Just change the order there and you can press F1 with out any hesitation. The order there really matters, It is the priority in which the computer should try to buy the items. Thats it.

Now the Aliases
You can create aliases in the game so that you can operate the console with minimum text commands input. How to do it? Just follow these steps,

1. Example1: type in the console alias d2 "changelevel de_dust2"
2. This will assign the command chagelevel de_dust2 to d2 word.
3. So if you type d2 in the console, it will change to Dust2.
4. Example2: type in the console alias ffon "mp_friendlyfire 1"
5. When you type ffon in the console it will switch on Friendly Fire.
6. Example3: type in the console alias ft "mp_freezetime"
7. When you type ft x in the console it will change freezetime to x.

Binding Keys for commads and aliases:

This is the command to bind a key. bind Ex: bind p "say hello"Meaning assingn the command "say hello" to key "p".

Sample commands in the console:

bind p "say hello" - when ever you tap the p key, it says hello in the chat.
bind kp_del "sv_restart 1" - When ever you tap "del" in the Numpad it will restart the server.
bind kp_5 "record map1" - Record a demo named map1.dem
