Download the scenario Ancient TD. TD means Tower Defence.
This is the file which you need when you want to play the Ancient TD Scenario in AOE. Generally, the file will be downloaded directly by the AOE client from the host.
The Ancient TD or Tower Defence is the scenario of optimization. Of course the whole game of AOE is about optimization of resources. The effective usage of resources is the key in the scenario.
Here are few points which are not concluded to be best, just some discussion
1. Aim is to kill all the units which are intended to pass the area.
2. The above demands lots of Towers. After all its a TD scenario.
3. Towers need stone and wood
4. Gather Stone and wood.
5. Towers must be upgraded. They must be.
6. So need kings.
7. Need Gold. Get Gold from relics with first 5 kings.
8. Gather Gold.
9. Mean while you will get short of the stone. Buy it from Market or Buy it with a king
10. Get Bonus Gold and Stone faster.
11. Take the extra space for towers.
12. Get gold from where ever it is available.
13. Keep creating trade units.
Ancient TD:
