Project IGI Mods for Statistics and Gameplay

Like in Counter Strike game, there can be good mods for the Project IGI. But I have searched for the mods and found none, either in SE or in ModDB website. There is only one reason for this. That is Single Player only mode. If there has been multiplayer support for the game, there would have been good number of mods for Project IGI. Both the version I'm Going in and Covert Strike have no Multiplayer mode to attract mod creators or developers.

I am not a person with great knowledge on mod creation. But I share some views of mine. The mods for single player can be useful if they are for showing the Statistics or if they change the game play. The game play may not be changed as the enemy units are fixed to a single location. The game was released in 2000. So compatibility may be an issue for creation of the mods.

If there are some,

1. The game play if changed can be like this at most. The player gets some additional powers if he had killed some number of enemies.
2. The player can fly if completed some task. Like a jet pack.
3. Long Jumping.
   

Finally, I was not able to find any mods for project IGI. Like to know if there are any. This posts look like digging back to 2000, but I just thought of writing one.

Counter Strike 1.6 Mods | Plug-ins | Add-ons Complete List

Silenced Weapon Mod - for GTA San Andreas

The game GTA San Andreas has a mod which can change a noisy gun to a silenced one. The technical description given for it is that it changes the tec9 with an MP9. This mostly should be a silencing method of the firing gun. This mod would allow the task performances where there is a lot of stealth needed.

A mod is something which could vent out any bored feelings seeping into your mind if you are playing a particular game for more than some 100 hours with no large gap. ::). It so boring to play a game which is completed and there is nothing more to do. If you feel so, that is the very time for you to search for a new mod to play for that game.

Anyways, there are many more mods which are much more interesting in the game GTA San Andreas. These mods would allow a lot of changes in the game which could change the game to a real time Hollywood movie. The Hancock mod previously explained is one of such mods. There is a SuperTuxedo, CLEO, Super CJ mode etc... See the hancock.txt for more. You could make a Hancock movie in the game. :).

Naruto Ninja Chronicles Mod for Half-Life Yet to be Released

Naruto Ninja Chronicles is a Mod for Half-Life which will take the players to a whole new world of Naruto. The Mod is based on the Japanese Anime Series Naruto.

The game has many features. The attacks and power are also very cool. It has Kage Bunshin which produces clones and many more features. Too cool to play.

Sharingan and Byakugan Mods for Counter Strike 1.6

Counter Strike Mods are as popular as the game itself. This is a good sign since all the players are aware what mods are. And more info is on Naruto. Naruto is almost same as counter strike. Based on google trends, in the start of 2004, comparing both keywords in google counter strike 60 and naruto 40. And now in 2009, counter strike 30 naruto 270.

Naruto series has created the concepts of Sharingan and Byakugan. These are the powers of Uchiha and Hyuga clans respectively. Neji Hyuga uses Byakugan and Uchiha Sasuke uses Mangekyu Sharingan mostly in the episode 92 of shippuuden yet to come day after tomorrow.

So, here is a mod which is to be developed by some techie which could bring the Sharingan and Byakugan into the game.

What can Mangekyu Sharingan do here,

Its quite simply, a genjutsu. Meaning that a player can flash bang other player with his Mangekyu Sharingan eyes and the other guy sees some 4 to 5 enemies flying in air revolvong around. Its too cool to play.

Then what about the Byakugan,

This could make players see through the walls, see whats too far to see. Aim at longer distances more easily. Its like a scoped Sniper with just the normal eyes when byakugan is on.

All that users need to do is to bind a key for their power in the configs of cs 1.6 like in warcraft mod for cs 1.6. And then just tap the key and the power will be started. Sharingan!!!, Byakugan!!!

TV Series Heroes Mod for Counter Strike 1.6

The Mods of Counter Strike are as famous as the game itself is. So, it is good to have number of mods in development for the game Counter Strike which are going to popularise the game itself with their own.

When coming to the Heroes mod, the powers should be same as those in the Heroes TV Series. To be specific, the powers like Teleporting of Hiro Nakamura, Physical Control over others. These are going to be really great to see and use in the game.

This would look similar to the Warcraft Mod and others but the Models can be changed too. The Models can be made to look alike as those in the Heroes TV Series, like Peter Petrelli and others. The Players should be given a random charater while starting the game and he should be given the power of the charater which he gets. The only problem comes with the weapons in the game. If there is teleporting, it is going to affect greatly. But without weapons it is too hard to play.

The real difference is made when the power of nullifing other powers comes into picture. This is the power that the character Haitian has in Heroes TV Series.

Naruto Mod for Counter Strike 1.6 and for Half-Life to be developed

Naruto mod is said to be developed for Half-Life and would be available in the days ahead. The mod development was reported by moddb website. This mod is going to show the characters in their appearances as in Naruto Series. To would be cool to see it as a game for sure.

The Mod for Counter Strike 1.6 is going to be still better. With the support of AMX Mod X or as a direct Module, it is great to see the Naruto Model of a player and he using his powers in the game.

When it comes to how the powers would be, the assumptions and expectations are that the powers of the characters in naruto should remain same like the shadow mimic of Shikamaru, the Spirit Transfer power of Ino, Pills of Chouji, Over all the Sharingan. The Sharingan is going to be a very big hit if it could see the players presence through the walls and what weapons they have. This kind of powers should be unique with each player.

These powers should be usable with very simple controls and with non-complex situational dependency. Because, the main problem always arises when the players try to use the power they hardly understand how to use the power and what it is after all.

Terms Explained: Half-Life HL, HLTV, HLDS, Steam, HL Mods Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, AMX, GunGame etc

Half-Life:
Half-Life is the game designed by valve software ltd. It is a first person shooter game. Its basic game play consists of some players playing against each other and shooting, similar to quake but there are many differences. The game requires a server run by one of the payers or a dedicated server.

Hlaf-Life through hl.exe:
This is the application to run the game Half-Life. You can play the above described game through this application. Through this application, you can create a standalone server or play by joining in the servers which you can search in the game. The GUI also contains an option to change the game to its modifications.

HLDS through hlds.exe:
If you are not willing to play a game but you are kind to your friends in your college LAN, you can start this application. This application lets them play the game with other friends. But the server is yours. Means you are the administrator of the current game being played. You can change the map or can change other settings. You can run this application called hlds.exe to start the server.

HLTV through hltv.exe
This is useful to spectate your friends playing. If there is a league going on between two teams, you are not allowed to join into the game. It will be password protected. So the Admin of the league, if he is kind to others willing to see the match, will start the HLTV and connect to the server of the league. Now you can connect to that HLTV without any password. This will allow you to see the game though that proxy but you are not actually in the original server.

Steam:
If you have played other games online some time, you might have definitely known about Game Spy Arcade. The Steam is similar to Game Spy Arcade.

There are many games played online. The Players need a standard platform to know about each other or to just play with each other with ease. These applications like Steam and gamespy Arcade allow the players to search their co-players from all around the world. The game which supports this Steam application is called Steam Version of the game and that does not support is called Non-Steam version.

Mods are modifications of the game. They can be modified to anything. And a mod may again have another mod.

Modifications of the game Half-Life are Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, Team Fortress et cetera.

Modifications of Counter Strike Game are Counter Strike Death Match (CSDM), GunGame, Warcraft et cetera.

Counter Strike
It is the modification of the game. In this game, the gameplay consist two teams fighting for a task. In the maps like de, T team tries to Plant a bomb with in given time. The CT Team tries to Counter thier plans or to guard the places of most importance, the bomb sites. These de maps are most famous.

Versions of Counter Strike:
From 1-1.6, Condition Zero, Source. Versions from 1-1.6 and Condition Zero run on Half-Life. Source Version runs on Half-Life 2.

Day of Defeat:
Modification of the game Half-Life with different game play.

Natural Selection:
Modification of the game Half-Life with different game play.

AMX MOD X
This is a modearator for the games like Counter Strike, Condition Zero, Day of Defeat and other mods of half life. This makes the administration of the server easier. This can be used to modify the Counter Strike, Day of Defeat etc.

Counter Strike Death Macth(CSDM)
