For First person Shooter games like Call of Duty and Counter Strike, the selection of good mouse and keyboard also matters not a lot but little.
In the game counter strike you can see an option saying smoothen mouse movement. This will help you a lot if you have a low DPI mouse.
DPI:
DPI refers to dots per inch which will decide how smoother and how faster your mouse moves. You can even see in som eusb mouse rate checker applications in which you will get the frequency more than 120Hz for mice with higher DPI. Higher DPI means a better mouse.
When you try to move the mouse, you need to see how well you can aim at something. If you are continously struggling to get an aim over some object, you are not only neglecting the sensitivity of the mmouse but also the smoothen mouse moveent option in counter strike. Similar setting also in avialable in Call of Duty.
While the keyboard is better if the keys in it are easy to slide over kind and not like tapping as hard as a typewriter. This will create a lot of damange to the finger tips and hands.

Buy the Best Mouse for Counter Strike Game play, Mice for Snipers
In this post I want to give you some tips for buying Mice for Counter Strike very briefly, with very basic variables of the game Counter Strike. There can be many more variables which may affect you to go for some other things which might be suitable to you actually in the game Counter Strike.
Bigger Mice:
A bigger mouse helps the snipers very much. This is because you need to move the mouse very fast. While moving the mouse very fast there may be a great possibility for you to loose control over the mouse with out good grip. So you need to have good grip, which is possible with bigger mice. The bigger mice, exactly fitting in your hand will provide you greatest grip. The mouse should cover the hand area completely and the hand should completely fit to it.
Wired Bigger Mice:
This is good if you are prone to loose control over the mouse very easily. When you have a wired mouse, the mouse will exert a small amount of opposing force to the movement. This will help you to counter any unwanted movements which you might do accidentally.
Wireless Bigger Mice:
This is good if you wish to have no opposing forces on our mouse. But you need to have good control over the mouse as it will move randomly where ever you move with out any restrictions.
Smaller Mice:
Some bigger mice will make your movement slower. A small mouse can move faster but you need to be cautious to greater extent. These small mice are very helpful for rifles. The rifles need you to aim at the enemies with very precise movements at every movement. So these smaller mice can help you.
In the case of bigger Mouse, you will use your wrist and hand to move the mouse. But in case of smaller mouse you will use your fingers to move the mouse. This makes your movement faster but you need to be very precise.
Wired Smaller Mice:
In this case, as the mouse is smaller, the pressure exerted by the wire on the mouse will be higher and mouse will be restricted to a greater extent.
Wireless Smaller Mice:
This will help you mouse very fast and very randomly so you need to be very precise and accurate while shooting.
I am Presently using Logitech Cordless mini, a smaller wireless mouse and need to master it much better. You can get Logitech Cordless Mini in India for around Rs.1000/-. I bought it for Rs.1000/- in CTC Hyderabad.
