If Prince of Persia Multiplayer is Developed
Multiplayer games are the most interesting and most attractive gameplay viz. There are a lot of multiplayer games developed in the past. Notable ones are Age of Empires, Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, Half-life, Need For Speed. There are many more I have not included here and may be more popular to these. Apart from those I have listen above from past, there are story lines like Harry Potter, Transformers, X-Men which can be made into very good multiplayer games. The games Harry Potter and Transformers are made in to multiplayer as said. But are they worth playing multi-player?
The games like Prince of Persia are greatly admired for single player. The games like this are so nicely design and written that, it just looks like a real life in action. And the task is so clean and nice, just move on. And thinking of a multiplayer design is not so "Aaaaah?" kind of thing.
So lets think of it,
The easier and non-convincing game can be like this,
The different characters would be focusing on a multi-task scenario. Each character is assigned some task and the result will be shared between the characters. In this design, a character is assigned definite tasks. The other characters are assigned some other tasks too. But the key point here is that they cannot exchange or share each others tasks. They only share the result.
But there is much better game design, where the story line is completely different,
The characters have some tasks to do in a scenario. These tasks are not assigned, they are shared. So here, not just the result is shared, but also the tasks are shared. It becomes a complete, real-time strategy game. The strategy is like World of Warcraft, where you try to reach the enemy in different paths. This is so because, both the enemies and allies are human players, not the computer or bots. Its a responsibility of the enemies to restrict the prince and his allies by covering all the paths towards the destination of the prince. And it is the task of the prince to reach his destination. You can use diversion strategies, combined attack strategies, and all kinds of strategies you can get in to your mind.
The game looks very similar to Counter Strike Capture the Flag Mod, but the biggest difference is that the characters fight between themselves with a Swords and Bows.
The latest game in the Prince of Persia series, POP2008 has two characters, they had a very nice chance to make the game multiplayer, that would have been really nice. But never mind, a nicely designed game is always awaited and good to develop one for the developers and good to game for the gamers.

Play Multiplayer LAN Games over Internet on Tunngle Communities
Tunngle is a new application for LAN over Internet. This is a 3MB application similar to Hamachi, but seems to have some new features.
Many gamers around the web might have played multi-player in Hamachi Networks. It is quite popular in Online Gaming. The application uses LAN over Internet. Now, a new application called Tunngle is introduced to the web. It is time to try out the new one, as they are focusing on gaming too. As we have Networks in Hamachi, here we have communities. No matter what name it has, both are for same purpose.
Why Tunngle? - As I have pointed out before, the application has been optimized for gaming too as it seems. The account is said to be beta, that's something to know more about. The application lets you create communities and share them very similar to the Hamachi Application. So, there is no looking back. There are things to know before using it go to tunngle.net, once you use it you will understand everything.
Tunnglers can share their views about the Tunngle here. You can talk about how simple is it to use, how is it advantageous, what is better in Tunngle when compared to Hamachi, and what is not good in it, where you felt bad about it, information regarding the user interface GUI, about speed of connection and pings, and a lot more. If you want to make the discussion deeply, you can use the Gaminglan.net forums at http://forums.gaminglan.net. A new forum dedicated to Tunngle is started for sharing Tunngle Communities.
Tunnglers can share their communities in this blog in the respective post labeled as Tunngle.

What is Hamachi and How to play Multiplayer on Hamachi
Hamachi is an application which creates a virtual private network like LAN on the Internet. It is virtual because, it is on the Internet. It is private because you can secure a network with password. And more over it is LAN.
So, here are some terms,
When you finished joining the networks of the games, you can join the others games, just as you do in the case of LAN. These games may be shown directly in the LAN games option. Else, you need to give the IP address of the member who created the game in your LAN options. This is the 5.x.x.x IP address.
Some Hamachi Networks for Popular Games,
If you create Hamachi Networks, you can share them here as a comment.
So, here are some terms,
- Hamachi LogMeIn Application - This is the application for PC which allows the enabling of VPN. You can download the application at Hamachi's Website.
- Create Network - A network can be created by any user. Network needs a name and password. Both should be mentioned while creating the network. The network can be created by clicking on the create network option in one of the application buttons.
- Password - The password of the network.
- Joining Network - You can join networks when you know both the username and password. Then the VPN of that network will be added to your LAN.
- Hamachi IP Address - A separate IP address will be allocated to each PC with the application. This generally starts with 5 as in 5.x.x.x. You can check your IP address allocated by Hamachi in the Hamachi application. Also, this network will be shown in My Network Connections in Windows OS.
- Personal Messaging - Once you join a network, you can PM others in that network by double clicking in their name.

NFS Most Wanted Multiplayer LAN Game Settings
Connecting two computers via LAN and playing NFS in LAN is easy but just needs some time. To play NFS Most Wanted Multiplayer in LAN,
While everyone is in the game, the game itself starts a countdown, there is no need to give any command to start the game in NFS Most Wanted. If one of the players quits in between the game, the connection will be lost. This will show the following error message "Connection to the other server has been lost".
Also if there is any problem regarding the connection of the cross cable to connect LAN, or any problem while connecting PCs in Windows, or for any problems regarding the setting up Multiplayer game Server in one PC, or if there is any problem regarding joining the created game, or problems with creation of games, feel free to comment.
- Firstly the two computers must be connected through a LAN cable and configured such that both the computers detect each other. NFSMW can directly connect between two computers and needs no additional software like PunkBuster.
- Secondly, install the same version of the game NFSMW in both the computers. This will ensure the avoiding of any possibilities of version differences of NFS Most Wanted Game installation.
- Now, from one of the computers, go to the NFS MW menu and reach the LAN Tab. From here Create a LAN Server where the NFSMW application asks you to enter a name.
- Enter any name and proceed.
- Ask the person at the other computer to select the same LAN server option in his menu of NFS MW.
- Now, he must be able to see the name which you have put in your server. If he is not able to see any game names, ask him to disable the windows firewall or add NFSMW to firewall exception. Check the same with the server's PC too.
- Ask him to join the game. If he is not able to join the game, retry by recreating the game server.
- To join the game, the other person must also put his own name.
- Ask him to enter the name and join.
- Now the person who has created the server must start a quick race and should select one of the options out of three namely, Sprint, Circuit, Drag.
- Its your own choice to chose the type of the race.
- Once you finish selecting, the NFSMW application automatically searches for any games in the server. After it finds none, it will ask you to create one.
- Create Game.
- Ask your friend to select the same option out of three which you have selected, Sprint, Circuit or Drag.
- Once he selects the option, he should be directly put into your game which you have created. If he is unable to join, it is wise to recreate game and ask him to join immediately.
- That's it. The NFS MW application itself will start the game once everyone is ready in the game. You can enjoy playing.

The LAN gamers of IITs and NITs
As a part of the title, I can say, there is a lot to learn by gaming. And hence there is a word called noob. I used to wonder why some one is called a noob after playing the game so many times. Its because, there are some 'x' number of parameters which decide how you play a game, and there exists a definite number 'y', y less than x which is needed to survive the game. And the number of parameters which one can know playing a game with out the support of the second person is most probably 'z', and z less than y.
What makes the IITians and NITians not the best but better players? Its the co-operation. I am not saying this, but, a crowd in a mass considers NITians to be more talented than many others. And when such a mind goes mad about something it results in a definite absolute outcome which could be the (best-1) solution. And when 2 such (best-1) solutions are shared and compared, there could be a (best-0.1) solution. I always leave the best to the one(might not be in any school even).
Finally the LAN of the NITs and IITs is an enormous library of such solutions and you can get tips on almost all the multipayer games. If you are in such a library, you can see the knowledge radiating out of your PCs. Thats what a world of gaming is. More over there is a class room fot the direct meeting and discussion for all the gamers.
In the 4 years of true education, you are going to emerge out as the best gamer. After all those are just games and so is life.

GTA 4 Graphic Problems - GTA IV Supports Multiplayer Gaming Online and Not in LAN
GTA 4 is undoubtedly the most popular game in the Internet. If you want to see it by yourself, you can see Google Trends Statistics for different games like Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Prince of Persia, Need For Speed etc. The other games have taken the lead till the time this latest game of GTA, GTA 4 was released. This may be the case as the game is starting Online Multiplayer Support.
Grand Theft Auto IV, GTA 4 is the first game of its kind in fourth generation. The Graphics and appearance are extremely good and at the same time the system requirements are too high. It is said that a 1GB GPU is a must for the game to run smoothly. That's how the system requirements go.
There are no big Problems regarding the Graphics or any big technical problems. There may be some problems. But by and large, there are no such problems like in NFS Undercover regarding the Game Crashes and Lagging Graphics. Even there are no big complaints about the graphics and other problems.
The Latest version of the GTA, the Grand Theft Auto 4 is said to be in its fourth generation. This generation of it is including the support to play game in multiplayer game online. And also, it is just online and not in LAN. The LAN compatibility would have made it as popular as it can be. Though there is no problem with the publicity as it is the most popular game in years.
The may not have graphic problems, but there is a much bigger problem. GTA 4 game if it goes too popular then there is a problem with human psychologies. Any game should never be a addiction. If it becomes an addiction then there would be some negative impacts on the players playing the game. In the case of GTA 4, it may happen as it is very addictive even in normal modes and now if the game goes online it may turn much more addictive and may affect the players in their sociology.
